CLIMATE CHANGE PUSH-BACK
CLIMATE CHANGE PUSH-BACK
On October 10, 2018 report from Intergovernmental
Panel on Climate Change found that to keep the Earth from warming no more than
1.5 degrees above pre-industrial levels , rather than 2 degrees Celsius, global emissions of green house gases would
need to fall to net zero by 2050.
Apparently, the difference of ½ degree is colossal and would have far
reaching alarming impacts of extreme and very chaotic weather events, Arctic
sea ice, and our coral reefs.
Five simple acts you can do right now that
can have monumental impacts if everyone participated are:
* Compost
all organic materials.
* Plants as many trees as possible on your property
or in the community.
* Do not drink any fluids from plastic bottles.
* Stop eating beef.
* Do not order anything online from Amazon.
