 While you are sitting there idling your exhaust pipe is spewing out deadly and very damaging carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, benzene, formaldehyde and polycyclic hydrocarbons which the unfortunate workers has to inhale into  their  delicate lungs.
  
If you absolutely must have your coffee be kind to your self as you are the air you pollute and get out of the car.

Here’s a refreshing solution buy some Fair Trade organic coffee beans.

The night before, get it all ready. 

In the morning just press the button and a few minutes later, the enticing aroma of coffee will make your mouth water with anticipation.

Many people still avoid caffeinated coffee because they worry about its health effects.
 Research done in the last 20 years actually prove otherwise-

 Coffee may reduce the risk of-
  • developing gallstones
  •  colon cancer
  • Parkinson's disease
  • liver damage in people at high risk for liver disease
  • improve cognitive function and endurance performance in long-duration physical activities.

Benefits of Coffee Grounds

  • Compost Material – Make the ground richer and more acidic for acidic loving plants. Add to indoor plants or compost.
  • Fridge Deodorizer – Coffee grounds and vanilla in water will deodorize fridge
  •  Stop Defecating Pets– Mix coffee grounds and orange peels and place around plants.
  •  Skin Exfoliate –Add to liquid soap to exfoliate dead skin cells.
  • Hair Shine Solution –Add to shampoo and get hair bouncier than Jennifer Anisten. Create a final rinse for darker hair for a super shine.
  • Ant Repellent – Spread where ants are a problem.  Apparently they won’t cross a line of coffee grounds. I have never tried this solution, but I know that Epsom salt works for ants in the garden. And the Epsom salt will fertilize your plants at the same time! 
  • Slug and Snail Repellant- Place coffee grounds around hostas.

 DON'T  TREAT MOTHER EARTH LIKE A GIGANTIC GARBAGE BIN On Sunday, October 15, the Barrie Garden Club ventured out on a dark, dreary, and drizzly day to pick up litter, along Highway 26 close to Wilson Avenue. As I was picking up all kinds of litter such as license plates, chairs, discarded clothing, plastic bags, lots  of cigarette butts, and a myriad of discarded coffee containers, I began to reflect on all the problems triggered by litter. Here in Canada, we are very lucky to have an organized system where most municipalities and cities  make sure that there are regular pick-ups for your garbage, compost, and recyclables. So it boggles my mind why so many Canadians do not use the readily provided containers, but instead  treat Mother Earth like a gigantic garbage bin.
