AMAZON -DID YOU KNOW?
AMAZON - DID YOU KNOW?
Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon is the richest man in the world
and in July 2021 it was reported that he became the first trillionaire in the
world! If you want to visualize how much money that is- think about how long it
would take to dig a million holes 2000 times and fill each one with a
million dollars! Not only did he not pay any taxes, whatsoever, last
year, (2019) but through a series of tax loop holes with complete
disregard for the survival of the American economy , this self- serving CEO readily
collected 129 million dollars back from the US government.
His
employees make a measly $ 28, 465 per year!
He has been described as a “cold blooded corporate titan”.
Every time you buy from Amazon you are contributing
to the demise of the local businesses in your town.
For every single job Amazon creates, 2 jobs,
often much better, are lost in your local community.
Bezos has added $67.4 billion to his net worth so far in 2020 as
of Aug. 12 or over a span of roughly seven and a half months. He is making about $8.99
billion a month or $2.25 billion per week in 2020.
His
employees make a measly $ 28, 465 per year!
The
description of Jeff Bezos as a “cold blooded corporate titan “could quickly be
erased from the history books. He could quickly be referred to as the”
superhero without a cape” by making the right decision.
Can
you imagine the profound life- changing impacts for all of us here on
Earth, if Jeff Bezos donated his monthly earning of almost 9
billion dollars a month toward green
technologies and bold initiatives to tackle global overheating?
We,
the people actually have the power to urge him to do the right thing! We all
have to let him know that we will buy nothing from Amazon until he does the
right thing! Jeff Bezos must immediately start to financially support
innovative solutions to mitigate global overheating!
How?
I have confident young brilliant minds will have the logistic strategies to
tell the world how to force Jeff Bezos to do the right thing!
