Freshen up carpets with a dusting of baking soda just before you vacuum. Simmer lemon rinds in a pot of water on the stove for a lovely lemony smell. I usually buy a number of spray bottle and I use double strength vinegar from the Hardware Store. I use half and half solutions with water for the vinegar and lemon juice for the majority of applications. Vinegar Uses place a cup of vinegar in dish washer and run cycle use straight vinegar for stainless steel and wipe with olive oil for a shiny sheen use half and half for wiping most surfaces and cleaning mirrors and windows pour 1 cup of vinegar into toilet bowl, let it sit for 15 minutes soak clothing with sweat stains with half H2O and half vinegar overnight and then launder Baking Soda Uses keep open box in fridge to tackle odours sprinkle on wet sponge to remove crayons from walls mix equal amounts of baking soda and toothpaste, rub gently with grain to get rid of water marks on furniture, dry gently with cloth add to 1/2 cup baking soda to your laundry detergent add 1/2 cup to rinse cycle instead of fabric softener Lemon Uses place lemon slices in bowl of water, in microwave , nuke on high until steamy, wait 15 minutes, wipe away the grime rub cut side of lemon on cutting board make your own wood polish - in a spray bottle , mix 1 tbsp. of olive oil, 1 & 1/2 tsp. vinegar, 1& 1/2 tsp. lemon juice, 2 cups warm water remove mineral deposits on faucets and drains by using the cut side of a lemon dab lemon juice on sweat stains, let sit for a few hours, launder. Hydrogen Peroxide Uses to remove fungus from houseplants use 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide and 1 cup water in a spray bottle pour hydrogen peroxide into toilet bowl. Let it sit for 30 minutes, use toilet brush to remove blood stains apply hydrogen peroxide directly to the area. Let it sit a few minutes, dab with damp cloth. Repeat if needed before laundering. WARNING! NEVER MIX HYDROGEN PEROXIDE WITH VINEGAR. YOU WILL CREATE PERACETIC ACID! This ACID WILL IRRITATE YOUR SKIN, EYES AND RESPIRATORy SYSTEM!
