I just read that the US national debt will top over $ 22 trillion - the highest ever! 
Then, I read that Jeff Bezos makes an astounding 4 million, 465 dollars per hour! 😒
His employees make a measly $ 28, 465 per year!! 
AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, JEFF BEZOS GREEDILY ACCEPTED  129 MILLION IN TAX RETURNS! 😮

It is my understanding that the American infrastructure is crumbling and is in desperate need of massive amount of flow of cash.

The Amazon behemoth has placed tremendous stress on roads etc, constantly bringing goods to customers and then having 5-15 % returned.

And yet Jeff Bezos, did not pay a single red cent in taxes  to build and maintain the roads and railways etc. which he desperately needs in order for his massive business to thrive and so he can to line his pockets with billions of dollars!

 I , shop locally,  so the small businesses who actually pay taxes to maintain the infrastructure will survive.
If we consumers keep supporting this monstrous oligopoly that is steadily buying up the supply chain and swallowing up small businesses, in no time at all we will have very little choice when looking for items to purchase.

MAYBE IT'S TIME TO BOYCOTT AMAZON UNTIL THEY BEGIN TO PAY TAXES AS WELL AS PAY BACK TAXES OWED TO THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT!

 DON'T  TREAT MOTHER EARTH LIKE A GIGANTIC GARBAGE BIN On Sunday, October 15, the Barrie Garden Club ventured out on a dark, dreary, and drizzly day to pick up litter, along Highway 26 close to Wilson Avenue. As I was picking up all kinds of litter such as license plates, chairs, discarded clothing, plastic bags, lots  of cigarette butts, and a myriad of discarded coffee containers, I began to reflect on all the problems triggered by litter. Here in Canada, we are very lucky to have an organized system where most municipalities and cities  make sure that there are regular pick-ups for your garbage, compost, and recyclables. So it boggles my mind why so many Canadians do not use the readily provided containers, but instead  treat Mother Earth like a gigantic garbage bin.
